You have recently changed the DNS of your domain name so that it points to our hosting servers but you are still accessing your old site, you have a DNS error or you have just ordered a hosting with a new domain that does not work.
The DNS has been changed too recently or you have a DNS cache on your computer.
You have just pointed your domain to our DNS
DNS propagation can take several hours, in general it is necessary to wait an average of 4 hours after a DNS modification for it to be effective.
Your domain has just been created
When creating a domain name, we recommend waiting an average of 4 to 6 hours for it to be properly propagated on the global DNS servers.
Your domain has been on our DNS for more than 4 hours.
You can try to empty your DNS cache to speed up the propagation process, for this and depending on your OS you have to do the following manipulations:
- Press Windows + R keys at the same time and type
cmdin the execution window.
- In the command prompt window type the command
- Open the Launchpad and look for the Terminal application.
- Type the command
sudo dscacheutil -flushcache; sudo killall -HUP mDNSResponder
- Enter your password when prompted by the console
The problem persists despite cleaning the DNS cache.
As a last resort you can replace your computer's DNS with public DNS servers, we can recommend the public DNS resolvers offered by Cloudflare and Apnic.
- Open the Start menu and search Control Panel.
- Click on Network and Internet
- Click on Change Adapter Settings
- Finally, right-click on the active network card and select Properties from the drop-down list.
- Select Internet Protocol version 4 (TCP/IPv4) to configure your IPv4 DNS and click the Properties button.
- In the new window check the box Use the following DNS server address, in Preferred DNS server put 22.214.171.124 and in Alternate DNS server put 126.96.36.199.
- Click on OK
- Select Internet Protocol version 6 (TCP/IPv6) to configure your IPv6 DNS and click the Properties button.
- In the new window check the box Use the following DNS server address, in Preferred DNS server put 2606:4700:4700::1111 and in Auxiliary DNS server put 2606:4700:4700::1001
- Click on OK
- Restart your browser to take this change into account.
- Open the Launchpad and click on System Preferences.
- Go to the Network and select your Wi-Fi or Ethernet network card that appears as Connected.
- Click the Advanced... button and go to the DNS tab.
- In the DNS Servers column click the + button and enter 188.8.131.52
- Click on the + button again and enter 184.108.40.206
- Click again on the + button and enter 2606:4700:4700::1111
- Click again on the + button and enter 2606:4700:4700::1001
- Finally click on the OK button then Apply
The problem persists after DNS change
