What kind of VPS do I have (LXC or KVM) ?

To find out if you have an OpenVZ VPS, LXC or KVM it's very simple:

for any VPS ordered before August 8, 2018: it is an OpenVZ VPS
for any Linux Standard or Linux Storage VPS ordered between August 8, 2018 and January 13, 2019: it is a LXC VPS
for any Linux Start 2019 VPS ordered from January 14, 2019: it is a LXC VPS
for any Linux StandardVPS or Linux Storage VPS ordered since January 14, 2019: it is a KVM VPS

The OpenVZ VPS offers were terminated on January 10th 2023.

The LXC VPS offers are depreciated : Our teams strive to keep the infrastructures in working order, but bugs can appear.
