How do I change the hostname of my VPS?

You want to change the hostname of your VPS, the panel does not allow you to change and when restarting your VPS the basic hostname is restored.

The hostname of the VPS is injected by our hypervisor and the panel does not allow for the moment to change this hostname.

You can change your hostname from your VPS management panel on the VM Details tab:

Depending on the OS it may be necessary to modify the /etc/hostname and /etc/hosts files after this modification.
